Singletrack Surgeon

Anna Kelso

Anna is a mother of 2 with an inspirational spirit that is infectious.  She is all heart and carries that into her racing where she tears up the technical tracks in XC and marathon distance.  She put on a show in 2019 at the Pro XC race at Nationals rippin through the rain soaked rock garden.

Single Speed Assassin

Samantha Welter

Sam Smash slays single speed stylie, and loves droppin' ladders and gnarly tracks. She owns Empower Performance Therapy as a certified athletic trainer, and is a pancake connoisseur.

In 2019 Sam took 4th in SingleSpeed and 12th in Pro Enduro at Nationals.

Queen of Speed

Celeste Cannon

Owns most of the NoCo QOM's, always leaves us in awe racing XC and marathon distances locally and nationally.  Celeste works at Colorado State University as a Large Animal Technician.  She is Colorado’s two-time XC Pro Women’s State Champion reigning 2018-19.

Rock slayer

Becky Mikrut

A creative designer by day, she designs cycling kits for fun.  Technical XC trails are her jam, and rock gardens her guilty pleasure.  In 2019 she placed 3rd at the Oz Off Road 30 miler, and podiumed all Midwest Trifecta races

Nature Gurl

Valerie Collins

MTB 4LIFER.  Put a challenge in front of Val and the answer is always Hell Yeah!  She has had to overcome challenge after challenge in her racing career, and with each adversity comes back even stronger. In 2019 she placed 3rd in her Cat 1 age group at Colorado State Championships and finished Top 10 at XC Nationals.

Maria Esswein

With a smile we couldn't resist, Maria joined us in 2020.  Always up for the crazy, the spontaneous, and the most challenging treks, Maria is hoping to race Breck Epic this year, and disappear into the high country whenever possible.

Jenny Gerow Sugar Beets Cycling
OG Mistress of Beet
Jenny Gerow
Loves tutu’s and crushing spirits on climbs.  Jenny competes in Road, Mountain and Cyclocross.  She is currently studying for her Master's Degree in counseling in Seattle, continuing to spread her sparkling beet magic.

Crusher of Souls

Bella Oleksy

Graduated from Colorado State University in 2019 with a Ph.D. in Ecology.  As an OG Beet, Bella is back in Colorado after a brief stint in NY.  You'll find her explorin' more gravel in 2021.

Mighty Mama

Tenae Jones

It's a family affair with the Joneses, but in joining the Beets Tenae has already clocked some rad PR's with a team behind her.  She's ridden her longest ride ever, landed in the Top 10 in local 4 Seasons of Horsetooth race, and her wheelie game is spot on. Tenae is looking to crush Dakota 5-0 this fall.
